HR Event Held at Daydayup Beijing

May was a busy month for the staff at PTL. In the middle of the month, PTL’s China General Manager, Arie Schreier and Deputy General Manager Shahaf Nave traveled up to Beijing to conduct an HR seminar held by PTL at DayDayUp (DDU), a co-working space. Two of PTL’s clients are internet companies and they are hosted at DayDayUp with the HR and Admin support from PTL Beijing office. We realize that most newly founded companies found recruitment and HR management quite daunting and the rules are very different from the West. Therefore PTL held this seminar to share our knowledge and experience in HR with Daydayup members and the other newly started companies in Beijing.

Arie introduced the risks and challenges from both the employer and employee’s sides, and what to remember when you recruit, employ and terminate according to the Chinese Labor Contract Law. Participants are from a variety of fields such as education, IT, and government attended to learn about HR best practices and get an introduction to exactly what is Chinaware. Ischam and Israeli embassy representatives were particularly excited at the seminar, as the information shared helps them in their continuing work to support Israeli companies who are new to the China Market.

In the end of the seminar, Shahaf introduced the new website solution developed by PTL Shanghai: “Chinaware.” Chinaware is a solution that can fix foreign website loading problems in China. Many times, international companies’ representatives come to China without knowing that their websites actually cannot be seen/ loaded very slowly within the Great Firewall. Chinaware can be set up quickly and solve this problem within quite short time. For companies visiting China or participating in Chinese exhibitions, this can be a quick and easy solution. Learn more by going to PTL’s Website, and can even test your website to see its performance by testing it now!

A special thanks to our colleagues at PTL Beijing who ensured this event went off without a hitch. Also thanks to DayDayUp for playing gracious host. We highly recommend them for any group looking to host an event in a creatively designed and thoughtful space in a great location.
